Center for Farmworker Families at the Cesar Chavez Festival in San Francisco
/ Jason BaylessOn April 23, 2016, Center for Farmworker Families' founder, Dr. Ann Lopez gave a talk about the work of Center for Farmworker Families at the Cesar Chavez festival in San Francisco. You can watch Ann's talk in the video below.
In addition to the talk, Ann and other Center for Farmworker Families board members, along with members of the Watsonville Brown Berets, Idle No More, and hundreds more participated in a march the historical Mission district of San Francisco to honor Cesar Chavez and his leadership defending farmworkers, exposing toxic conditions in the field and human rights for all. It was a great event of hundreds of people coming together in the streets to take on these very important issues.
