Sunday, April 14, 2024: Cesar Chavez Day of Service at the Homeless Garden Project Farm featured Dr. Ann López, Director of CFF, as she spoke about the everyday hardships of farmworkers and the recently approved AB 2240 that will eliminate the 50-mile regulation in the migrant camps so farmworkers can live at the camp year-round.

Saturday, August 12, 2023: Harvesting Equity featured Civil Rights Activist Dolores Huerta, Dr. Ann López, Director of CFF, and Mireya Gómez-Contreras, Co-Leader of Esperanza Community Farms, as they discussed sustainable communities, organic farming and economic justice in front of 500 community members at the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville.

Monday, March 20, 2023: The Center For World Networking Fundraiser Project highlighted Dr. Ann López, Director of CFF, and Kevin Heuer, Director of Engagement & Impact for the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County. The event included group discussion and collaborative inspiration to help our hardworking neighbors in the farmworker community.


Our mission is to promote awareness about the difficult life circumstances of farmworker families while proactively inspiring improvement in binational family life both in the United States and in Mexico.
